Where should a porta potty be placed?

Place a porta potty on firm, level ground within about 25 feet of where the service truck can park. Leave about 2 feet of clear space on each side and room to open the door. Keep it away from trenches, storm drains, septic lids, sprinkler heads and overhead lines. Point the door away from wind and neighbors.

What should I do about gates, codes and locked sites?

For a gated site, give us the gate code, lockbox code or a contact who can open it, and put it on the work order. If the driver cannot reach the unit on service day, the visit is missed and a blocked-access fee may apply. A heads-up call 20 minutes before arrival is available on request.

Good instructions sound like this: "Through the driveway gate, follow the road to the back of the house, place it in the fork." We read that to the driver word for word.

How does Lewisville weather affect placement?

North Texas heat and storms change placement. In summer, shade cuts odor; put the unit under a tree canopy but not under low branches. After heavy rain, clay soil turns soft, so use a driveway or gravel pad. In high wind warnings, we can stake or tie down units at events.

We plan around National Weather Service Fort Worth forecasts. Tell us if the spot floods.

Questions renters ask us

Can it go on the street?

A unit in the street or sidewalk right-of-way may need city approval. Driveways and private lots are simpler.

Can you carry it into my backyard?

Yes, if the gate is at least 48 inches and the path is clear. The truck must still reach within hose length for service.

What if I need it moved later?

Call us. Relocation on the same site is quoted separately.
